  60% of marriages in the United States end in divorce and 66% to 75% of all divorces are initiated by the female partner. Children are the most important asset in a marriage, and the partner who expects to get sole custody is by far the most likely to file for divorce.

• No-Fault
  Divorce

  Couples shown to have lived apart for more than 180 days who have resided in the state of Nevada for as many days do not need to prove grounds in order to get a divorce. They may simply state that there is an "irrevocable breakdown" of the marriage.

• Child Custody

  In Nevada joint custody is considered the best as long as both parents are in agreement and visitation rights are often awarded to the non custodial parent.
